Meet your State Branch Manager Ms. Julie Fletcher

Ms Julie Fletcher has been involved in Pharmacy community in Tasmania for many years. Together with her husband Mark (who was a Pharmacist) opened the first pharmacy in Strahan Tasmania 11 years ago. They considered themselves very lucky to have lived in a small community where they were appreciated for their efforts.

Julie is currently the owner/store manager/pharmacy assistant for Strahan Pharmacy as sadly, her husband Mark passed away 16 months ago. It has been an ongoing process and struggle to find locum pharmacists since then, but Julie, being the amazing woman she is, managed to do so. Julie is not a Pharmacist so had no funding or help from the rural grants.

She understands the struggle for small community pharmacies to be able to survive and she is very proud to be part of Rural Pharmacy Australia.

Julie brings to the Pharmacy Community a plethora of experience in keeping things going in managing and owning a Pharmacy against all odds and a specialist Locum Pharmacy Assistant Business.

She is the State Manager for QLD and TAS .
